A native of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Jean Jacques was raised on Jiu-Jitsu, constantly training with his four brothers, as well as with his cousin and coach, Carlos Cracie Jr. While in Brazil, Jean Jacques dominated the competitive arena of his art, displaying a style that was fluid, artistic, and deadly. His success continued when he moved to the United States, culminating with numerous victories in the Abu Dhabi Submission Wrestling Championships.
